Welcome to Kameruka
One of Australia’s most unique and beautiful properties.
During the tour, you will drive past the gatehouse, formal English gardens of the estate’s homestead and the clock tower and pass through the village Main St on your way to the original shearing sheds and cricket oval Lords View, where a touring English team played a match with locals in 1885.
On a hill above you will see Holy Trinity Church which was established in 1869 to support the Estate’s community.
After a sheep dog and shearing demonstration you will be taken back to Main St to see the original buildings and have tea and scones at the rear of the Blacksmiths shop.
There will be time for you to walk around Main St and the clock tower and Homestead gardens before departing.
Also Mike Martin, a local entertainer will usually be on hand to play and sing ‘Bush Ballads’ of Old Australia
Running time: approximately 2.5 hours.
